FAQs

Can I breastfeed and sleep train my baby?

Absolutely. I was lucky enough to successfully breastfeed both of my children until 12 months of age. If breastfeeding is a priority for you, we will make sure it is a priority in the sleep plan.

Will sleep training cause psychological harm to my child?

There are many different sleep training methods. I will never ask you to implement a sleep plan that you are not comfortable with. Together, we will establish a sleep plan that fits with your parenting style. Sleep training can actually help a child to feel more confident and promote a healthy attachment.

If I sleep train my child, will they always sleep well?

Not necessarily. Adults do not sleep well every single night so we cannot expect a child to be any different. There are many factors that can alter a child’s sleep such as illness, teething, change in environment or routine, traveling, and just going through different developmental stages. However, children that have been sleep trained have a strong foundation and will have an easier time getting back on track.

If we invest in this service, can you guarantee that it will work?

I absolutely cannot guarantee that it will work. What I can tell you, is that sleep training is evidence based. That means that there is research to support the effectiveness of sleep training. I can guarantee that I will meet you and your little one where you are and we will work hard together. I will support you every step of the process.
